Guru melihat bahwa Jono telah melamun untuk waktu yang lama. Dia memutuskan untuk mendapatkan perhatiannya.

"Jono,"katanya, "Jika dunia adalah 25.000 mil kelilingnya dan telur selusin harganya enam puluh sen, berapa umur saya?"

"Tiga puluh empat," jawab Jono tanpa ragu.

Guru menjawab, "Yah, itu tidak jauh dari usia saya sebenarnya. Katakan padaku... bagaimana kau bisa menebak?"

"Oh, tidak perlu susah menghitung untuk itu," kata Jono. "kakak saya berumur tujuh belas tahun dan dia baru setengah-gila."
